Modernizing the operating system behind a high-volume advertising portal
Client context
Eros Guide operates an advertiser portal for independent advertisers. Its internal administration platform supports the business processes behind advertiser accounts, orders, pricing, premium services, commissions, and reporting.
Business challenge
The existing administration system had become difficult to change, costly to maintain, and poorly suited to growing operational needs. Important workflows depended on hard-coded data, incomplete order and waitlist functionality, fragmented access controls, and reporting that could not easily adapt to new management questions.
The engagement was not simply a technical migration. SoloSoft was asked to preserve the organization’s operational knowledge while creating a more maintainable platform for advertising operations, internal users, and future product enhancements.

What SoloSoft delivered
SoloSoft rebuilt and extended the administration experience around the workflows that matter most to the business. The work replaced brittle, hard-coded behavior with a data-driven operating platform and improved the reliability of day-to-day administration.
-
Replaced hard-coded test data with live, data-driven account, authentication, and search workflows.
-
Completed and strengthened the order and waitlist workflows that are central to managing advertiser accounts.
-
Simplified operational logic and data access so the platform could be maintained and enhanced with less effort.
-
Improved the underlying data model and filled gaps needed to support reliable administration and reporting.
-
Standardized core system behavior, reducing custom workarounds across common business functions.
-
Refreshed the administration interface to make everyday workflows faster and easier for internal users.

-
Established a clearer foundation for authentication, role management, and secure access to operational data.
-

-
Added error logging and operational visibility to help the team diagnose issues and protect service continuity.
Operational capabilities
The resulting platform brought together the functions the business needed to manage advertising inventory and advertiser operations:
-
Administration and access control — managed user accounts, roles, permissions, and controlled access to operational data.
-
Audit visibility — provided transaction history for accountability and follow-up.
-
Management reporting — enabled teams to run, publish, adjust, and filter reports across services, orders, sales activity, cities, and commissions.
-
Orders and waitlists — supported line items, waitlist notifications and position, and commission approvals.
-
Premium services — supported the configuration and management of value-added advertiser services.
-
Pricing administration — managed categories, payment methods, price adjustments, service models, and services.

Reusable page and content templates;
Payment and credit-card tracking.
Business impact
The new platform gave the client a more dependable system for running advertiser operations, with clearer controls over accounts, orders, pricing, services, and reporting. By preserving the real operating workflows while removing the legacy constraints, SoloSoft created a practical foundation for ongoing improvements instead of a one-time replacement.
